Candice Horne of Canned-art Solutions has renovated several homes in the Johannesburg area.
The houses she renovates have wonderful flow; and demonstrate her creative use of colour and finishes.
This creative energy is evident both inside and out; where she landscapes colourful gardens; courtyards; decks and swimming pools.
Her homes are always inviting and exude a welcoming ambience.
Her renovations are both professional and all-encompassing.
Yours sincerely

PROJECT MANAGEMENT SERVICES REFERENCE - STEWART R. HORNE, CANNED-ART SOLUTIONS
In my capacity as Senior Manager: Projects at Barloworld Logistics I have been working with Stewart for the past 2 years on our Country wide Ellerines Distribution Centre Development project. Stewart assisted and advised us on the entire project from Site procurement, Facility specification, through the construction phase and onto commissioning and handover of each of the 4 facilities. Stewart's services include;
>> Technical, Programming and Contractual input
>> Site specific Scope of Works detail
>> Detailed design input in association with the professional team
>> Bi-weekly professional team and contractor site meetings.
>> Contractual site hand-over process including commissioning and snagging.
The overall project value was approximately R700m and Stewart's involvement added great value to being able to achieve the end result.
In the 2 years that I have known Stewart he has proven always to be an astute professional with a good understanding of his business environment, he is scrupulously honest in everything he does.
Yours Faithfully

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN
I have known Stewart Horne in a professional capacity for the past years, at first as a colleague in Project Management in a large concern and later being employed by him as a professional consultant.
Throughout this period I have found Stewart to be extremely competent, diligent and very serous about his work and the projects being managed by him.
He is a natural leader and through the previous wide experience that he has accumulated as a small contractor in the building industry I have found him to be a dynamic and pro-active problem solver.
In his work he is a competent progress planner with the ability to analyse situations meticulously with special attention to details and practical aspects.
Throughout, it was obvious that he is always in full control of his work, with a clear vision of the overall project.
Furthermore he has the ability to muster support from his colleagues and is extremely competent as a leader of a professional or construction team.

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN
I have known Stewart Horne since 1988 both on a professional and social basis.
As an independent contractor in Durban, he regularly subcontracted his services to Grinaker Building KwaZulu-Natal when I was the incumbent Managing Director. His contracts were always executed in a professional and competent manner and his firm enjoyed a preferred status with that organisation.
He has subsequently taken up positions at Vista University and Wits University, as their relevant Facilities Director In these roles, he has managed all the fixed assets of these institutions, which include building maintenance planning, project managing all capitol projects, budgeting and cost control, as well as all other areas associated with these facilities.

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN
Mr Stewart Horne joined the University of the Witwatersrand on 06th August, 2001 as Facilities Director reporting directly to the Executive Finance Director. In order for him to perform his duties Stewart dad a "dotted line" responsibility with all the Faculties and other University facilities.
During his employment we found him to be very reliable and conscientious. Of particular value has been his loyalty to the University and its employees. Stewart is a results orientated individual and has the ability to communicate with all levels of an organisation which makes him a very valuable asset to any organisation.
I personally would not hesitate in recommending him for a senior position as he was extremely competent and has the personal qualities and competence to carry out his duties and responsibilities effectively across all functions of an organisation.
He carries with him our best wishes for the future.
Your faithfully,
Daniel Stewien
